Fiberuary Challenge Day 2: Tackling WIPs and Starting a Mood Blanket with a Personal Twist

It's day 2 of the #FiberuaryChallenge, and I'm ready to tackle my WIPs and start my mood blanket! But, let's be real, my WIPs have been sitting in my stash for so long, they're probably considering running away and starting their own fiber arts club. And, as for my mood blanket, well, let's just say I have a feeling it's going to be a wild ride.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, a mood blanket is a blanket made up of different squares or blocks, each representing a different day or mood. It's a great way to track your emotions and memories over time, and create a unique and meaningful piece of fiber art in the process. But let's be honest, with my track record, it might turn out to be a "mood throw," since I'm known to get a bit over-enthusiastic when it comes to my crafting.

Starting a mood blanket is easy, and all you need is a crochet or knitting pattern, some yarn, and your imagination. But with my imagination, it might turn out to be a "mood quilt," since I have a tendency to go a bit overboard. You can choose to work on your mood blanket every day, or just a few times a week. The key is to have fun, be creative, and let your mood guide your choices. In my case, my mood will probably guide me straight to the yarn store for more supplies.

If you're taking on WIPs as part of your Fiberuary Challenge, now is the perfect time to dig out those old projects and get to work. Whether you're finishing a sweater, scarf, or any other project, there's no better feeling than finally completing something that's been sitting in your stash for too long. And, with my stash, it's more like finally freeing up some space for more yarn.

So, whether you're starting a mood blanket or tackling your WIPs, the Fiberuary Challenge is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of fiber arts and get inspired. So grab your yarn, needles, or hook, and let's get started!

In conclusion, day 2 of the Fiberuary Challenge is all about taking on those WIPs and starting a mood blanket with a personal twist. These projects are a great way to get inspired, be creative, and immerse yourself in the world of fiber arts. So why not join in on the fun and see what you can create?
